Today I visited Lisa's Blog and read her post for the
W h e r e B l o g g e r s C r e a t e P a r t y
from Karen at My Desert Cottage.
I liked it so much and I would love to participate, too :O)
I hope I'm not too late! So here we go. Here are the most
recent pics of my little bear studio.
I'm a bear maker since 2004 and I spend all days and nights
in my studio, mostly making little bears and other critters.
I also love anything that keeps my hands busy, so there's
a lot of stuff - gathered in the lat 10 years - that justifies an own
room and jam-packed closets ... and ... I'm a fleamarket addict :O)
The sewing corner. I don't use the sewing machine very often, cause I love
to sew by hand, due to my missing sewing machine skills. But here and there,
I need the machine and it's better for my weaker self, to have it handy.

I found out, it's pretty useful to have multiple work desks. I can't resist
to abuse them as storage spaces. I'm very ... very chaotic!
Even the smallest projects cause a huge mess and hills of stuff.

My dusty little friend, the sewing machine. I'm a hand seamstress :O)
The boxes contain lotsa bear furs, fabrics and unfinished projects. I
also stock my shop items and "not-so-decoratives" in there. It's adviseable too keep everything neat and well-assorted, but I
love to have some inexpedient and decorative inspiration corners...
... as you can see on my work desk: my beloved clutter! This is the heart
of my studio, where all the bears are born, where I design my little critters
and where I where I blog :O)

One of my countless addictions: ribbons & laces! Sometimes I feel like,
"gosh, you have enough!", but then I always search for the perfect one
for my projects. Note to myself: you never have enough ribbons!

Last but not least, the latest creation: Shooobidoo!
My studio will never be done.
It takes the same effort and dedication that my projects do.
As you go back in my blog, you can see how it all begun and
howeverything developed ... bit by bit ... till it became the place

I just became your newest follower. You must have the most beautiful studio and things i have ever seen. I wish I can make little bears and friends like you do. I just buy special ones and they are all over my home. I can stare at each picture for a long time , it is just so beautiful and inspiring. I'm just going back to look some more. I found you in Pinterest. Blessings and happy holidays, Marta.
ReplyDeleteYour studio is GORGEOUS! I would love to have such a dreamy place to work. I have a studio, but since one of my arts of choice is stained and fused glass, I can't have the pretty things sitting about. There are too mahy chemicals and such about to make it unsafe. Some day I hope to have a second room just for the softer side of my art. In the mean time I will look at the pictures of pretty ones, like yours, and dream.
